The WDAZ-TV Studio in Grand Forks, ND
I had the pleasure of being the live van operator for the WDAZ's 2008 Election coverage.  Here are some pictures from a couple of the live shots, and a look behind the scenes at the studio.
Broadcasting live from the polling place at Lewis and Clark Elementary School for the 5:00pm newscast. Here I am in the live van outside the Alerus Center polling place just before the 6:00pm newscast.  I set my camera on a garbage can by a doorway, set the timer and ran to pose.  I hope nobody saw that...

Over the summer months WDAZ personalities make special appearances and do volunteer work at local events around  Grand Forks, or surrounding communities.  It's called "Make A Date With Channel 8".  The following pictures were taken in Aneta, ND during their annual Turkey Bar-BQ.  Since Aneta is close to the transmitter site where I work, my presence was also requested.  Reporters Steve Bodakowski, Stephanie Goetz, and I spent the day serving a huge amount of turkey to thousands of people, and taking part in other community activities.
